shoot gallery // covid concepts
Photographing commercial lifestyle means constantly pushing to shoot for specific concepts. A commercial image will never sell if there is no advertising value to it. When the world shut down in March, Coronavirus put a halt to my business, as it did for nearly every business - no more crew, no more collaboration, no more photo shoots as usual. But while Covid was shutting things down in most ways, it also opened a whole new world of possibility for shooting conceptual photography. This weird new reality we’re in means a new set of content needs for all kinds of advertisers. I MISS my producer and my models and getting out of my house!!!…but I’ve been keeping myself busy trying to add the new Covid-related concepts to my gallery, while photographing still-life and my own kids at home. Concepts like hygiene, PPEs, isolating, telemedicine, and working-and-schooling-from-home, weren’t on my radar at all pre-March, but consume my mind these days. The images in this gallery are all available for license, as always, at Tetra Images, Stocksy United, or Getty.
